From June 22 to 25, the "Conference Marking 40 Years of Major Development in China's Forging and Stamping Industry and the 40th Anniversary of the Association," hosted by the China Forging & Stamping Association (CFSA), was held in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. As a significant industry event marking the kickoff of the "15th Five-Year Plan" era, the conference brought together representative enterprises, research institutions, and experts from across the country to engage in systematic discussions regarding the industry's development paths toward intelligent, green, and high-end operations. Shandong Shenli Rigging, a key player in the domestic precision die-forged rigging sector, was invited to attend and participated in various industry exchange and exhibition activities.
The conference was themed "Inheriting Craftsmanship for Forty Years, Driving a New Chapter through Innovation" and featured three specialized parallel sessions covering forging, stamping, and sheet metal processing. During the event, the *Development Outline for the Forging and Stamping Industry (15th Five-Year Plan)*, the *Research Report on Technical and Economic Data of China's Forging Industry (2025 White Paper)*, and the *Interpretation of National Policies Relevant to China's Forging and Stamping Industry (2026 Blue Book)* were officially released. Specialized seminars were held on topics such as digital-intelligent forging, green and low-carbon transformation, industrial chain synergy, and the cultivation of "new quality productive forces." The delegation also visited the China International Metal Forming Exhibition in Shanghai, establishing an effective platform for technical exchange and cooperation across the entire industrial chain.
In the critical niche sector of die-forged rigging, Shenli Rigging—a key member of the CFSA—has long been deeply involved in the association's technical exchanges, seminars, and the formulation of industry standards. Leveraging over six decades of accumulated expertise in precision forging technology and practical experience in leading or participating in the development of eight national standards, the company has become a vital technical pillar in this sector. The attendance of a delegation led by Du Yazhong, Secretary of the Company's Party Committee (accompanied by his wife), along with the showcase of numerous innovative achievements, serves as a tangible demonstration of Shenli Rigging's active role in driving industry collaboration and technological leadership.
During the awards ceremony, several key frontline staff members from Shenli Rigging received industry honors: Fu Shanju (Deputy Minister of the Process Technology Department) and Gu Jiajun (Engineer in the R&D Department) were named "Outstanding Engineers," while Wu Qingqing and Shang Shuaishuai (Team Leaders at the Forging Plant) were recognized as "Outstanding Team Leaders." These honors fully demonstrate Shenli Rigging’s comprehensive strength regarding technical talent and frontline management. Concurrently, at the China International Metal Forming Exhibition in Shanghai, Shenli Rigging showcased several precision die-forged products. Two of these—the "SLR-2034 Single-Bend Cantilever Base Body for Catenary Masts" and the "SLR-872 Socket Fitting for Heavy Mining Rails"—were awarded the "High-Quality Forging Award" for their forming precision, mechanical properties, and excellent suitability for rail transit and mining operational environments.
During the event, the Shenli Rigging delegation actively participated in all core agenda items, carefully listening to the interpretation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" development outline for the forging industry and gaining a systematic understanding of the industry's high-level planning for the next five years. The team also attended a specialized forum for plant managers from precision die-forging enterprises, exchanging views with domestic peers on practices such as precision forging processes, the application of special materials, and the implementation of intelligent production lines. By benchmarking against data and standards found in industry white papers and policy blue papers, they deepened their understanding of cutting-edge forging technologies and group standards.
At the same time, the delegation actively engaged with universities, research institutes, and upstream and downstream equipment manufacturers to explore potential collaborations in areas such as new materials for high-strength special forgings, low-carbon forging processes, and intelligent production line upgrades. Through the exhibition, they conducted on-site inspections of current forging equipment and innovative technologies. During these exchanges, Shenli Rigging shared its practical experience in the precision die-forging of high-strength rigging, end-to-end quality control, standardized production of forgings for export, and low-carbon transformation. They also gathered effective solutions from peers regarding intelligent manufacturing and green transformation, providing valuable references for the company's future production line upgrades and new product development.
By participating in the 40th-anniversary conference of the China Forging Association, the company not only secured industry honors but also integrated into a high-level technical exchange network and expanded its collaborative channels. Looking toward the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Shandong Shenli Rigging will continue to focus on its core precision die-forging business, increase R&D investment in intelligent forging and green, low-carbon processes, continuously enhance its technical capabilities for ultra-high-strength forgings, strengthen supply chain synergy, and contribute to the national goal of building a manufacturing powerhouse.
