Shenli Rigging’s Labor Union Organizes a Team-Building Trip to Weishan Island, a National 5A-Rated Scenic Area

In the height of summer, the breeze sweeping across Weishan Lake carries the fragrance of lotus blossoms and a refreshing coolness. On June 28, the labor union of Shandong Shenli Rigging Co., Ltd. organized a team-building excursion for outstanding employees and key staff members. Stepping away from their busy workstations, they headed to Weishan Island—a national 5A-rated "Red tourism" site—to embark on a journey of relaxation and bonding. On this day, there was no cold steel, only gentle ripples; no departmental barriers, only laughter shared side by side.

At the morning meeting point, everyone arrived earlier than scheduled. Faces usually occupied with blueprints, machinery, and production schedules now wore expressions of ease. On the bus, any initial awkwardness quietly melted away as seatmates struck up conversations. "It’s been a long time since I’ve gone out with so many colleagues; today feels just like a spring field trip," a veteran employee remarked with a smile. A boat ride across the Grand Canal served as the trip's first "gift." The itinerary concluded with a leisurely stroll along the sightseeing paths winding through vast lotus fields. With emerald leaves stretching to the horizon and lotus flowers in partial bloom, the pristine atmosphere of the wetland enveloped everyone. When the group gathered for the return trip, satisfied smiles lit up everyone's faces—a perfect way for the labor union to help these hardworking employees "recharge."
